Services

Venue Security provides complete concert security. The company's services also extend to event management roles alongside production operators. We provide managers at the pre-planning phase who assist at ICP level on event day. Additionally, we provide staff backstage, at the barrier, and at venue perimeters to ensure artists and VIP personnel are protected.

For larger events mapping and planning briefs in hard copy and verbal form will be provided to visiting security providers, emergency services, venue owners and concert organisers.


Sports Events

In keeping with the concert security format, Venue Security also offers full management and security services for sporting events. The company will provide effective yet courteous gate checks. Resident and visiting teams will be ushered to their respective dressing rooms and warm-up areas. Crowd control measures will be employed and patrons allowed to enjoy the event without unsmiling guards bearing down on them.


Planning, Mapping and Consultancy

Venue Security has qualified draughtsman Phillip Walters, who has spent more than 20 years in the draughting industry and provides detailed mapping and planning text for large scale operations. Phillip combines his considerable security experience with his draughting skills to produce highly professional plans and maps.

Fellow shareholders, and co-directors, Neville Carseldine and Bruce Carseldine also offer substantial experience focused mainly on risk management.


Corporate Security

Venue Security provides suited security for corporate functions throughout New Zealand and have completed work at various venues, including Mount Smart Stadium and St.Matthews In The City. Staff complete their duties in a polite, discreet and courteous manner. They can often be seen offering extra assistance, such as opening car doors and providing umbrellas for corporate guests.


Personal Protection

Personal protection is another core service provided by Venue Security. Often this role sees staff undertaking numerous duties while maintaining a discreet presence. Tasks such as, driving, checking in and out of hotels, navigation and time keeping are all additional duties provided.

The list of high profile celebrities assisted by the company in its short history is a testament to Venue Security's reputation in the industry. Clients have included Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, actor Tom Cruise, cast and crew of the Lord of The Rings trilogy, The Warriors and The Dalai Lama. Various other visiting and New Zealand performers have also come under the guidance of Venue Security. These include Jimmy Barnes, The Feelers and UB40.


Static Guards

Venue Security has a large staff pool to fulfill any static guard needs for any industry. The company has a fulltime qualified training instructor who also acts as a recruiting officer. Please contact us to discuss your static guard requirements.


Drivers

As outlined above, driving duties are often performed hand in hand with personal protection. Venue Security have successfully provided drivers, mainly to the music industry, throughout New Zealand without incident for the past six years. This role can be carried out in either casual or corporate apparel.
