Also well done to the Warriors on making it to the NRL Grand Final this year.
We are looking forward to the summer months and getting out around the country with various acts which this year include Dave Dobbyn, Six60, Jimmy Barnes, Shapeshifter and Fat Freddys Drop.
With Christmas approaching, We would like to wish all our staff and clients a happy and safe holiday season and many thanks to the staff who have contributed to our successful year so far.
Older News
Mid Year update.
VSI is concentrating at the moment on complying with new security industry legislation and licensing of crowd controllers before the 1 November deadline. This is going well with many current staff having already applied or have expressed the desire to do so.
We also have had our first trainees completing the National Certificate in Security Level 2 and that training is ongoing with staff. Several staff have also signed up for Level 3 training. This is a great sign and will assist the company in providing quality service to its clients and the public in general.
Great result for VSI -
During a touch poll survey carried out at Mt Smart at the last NZ Warriors home game for 2010 season, Venue Security International acheived over 90% satisfaction according to those public attending. It is
recognised that a rating over 85% is up to world class standards.
VSI management would like to thank all the staff that have made that possible and will continue
to strive to keep and better that standard set.
This is a significant improvement on two previous polls and a reflection of the efforts being made by
management and staff to lift our levels of service to all our clients and customers.
Concert & Event Management
Additionally, we employ staff backstage, at the barrier, and at venue perimeters to ensure artists and VIP personnel are protected. For larger events, such as The Big Day Out and U2 concerts, we offer full hard copy and verbal mapping and planning briefs.
